The reviews continue to roll in

In Your Face coverReally chuffed with the very first review we’ve seen of In Your Face, in which Robbie Coburn in Aurealis #91 says: The genre of speculative fiction can often discourage readers of what is deemed so-called ‘serious’ literature; this collection defies that idea entirely, presenting works that are as literary as they are speculative. In Your Face is a truly rewarding and affecting experience that challenges the essence of what it means to be human, now and in the future.

You can read the full review in Aurealis #91.

Mieneke at A Fantastical Librarian not only reviewed The Rebirth of Rapunzel, she also interviewed Kate! Check out the review and interview at the site.

Mel (booksandsundry) at Goodreads gave five stars to the Mocklore Omnibus and said it’s: “Full of laughs and pacing that keeps you up all night long…”

We’re loving the In Your Face pose (instigated by Cat Sparks) that we’re seeing when people get their copies of the book – tag us on social media with yours? 😀

All the news that is news!

It’s been a very busy few weeks in the FableCroft household! In addition to two fabulous awards ceremonies on the weekend, we also launched Kate Forsyth’s beautiful non-fiction collection The Rebirth of Rapunzel: A Mythic Biography of the Maiden in the Tower. The launch was a great success, with over sixty guests in attendance enjoying champagne and chocolate while chatting with Kate. We had a gorgeous giveaway pack, and sold lots of books, and it was just lovely.

Special Offer…

To celebrate the publication of Ink Black Magic, we have a super special, limited time discount on the very FIRST Mocklore book, Splashdance Silver! About Ink Black Magic

Kassa Daggersharp has been a pirate, a witch, a menace to public safety, a villain, a hero and a legend. These days, she lectures first year students on the dangers of magic. The love of her life is missing, presumed dead. All the adventures are over.

But when an evil dark city full of villains and monsters appears from the pages of a student’s sketchbook, everyone starts to lose their grip on reality. Even the flying sheep.

No one is sure who are the heroes and who are the villains, but someone has to step up to save Mocklore, one last time.

True love isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Happy endings don’t come cheap.
All that magic is probably going to kill you.
You really can have too much black velvet.

The Mocklore Chronicles begin all over again with INK BLACK MAGIC…

The details…

Find all the books in-store at Amazon, Kobo, iTunes, Wizard’s Tower Books, Weightless Books and Smashwords.

Don’t pay more than 99 cents for Splashdance Silver (until December 31, 2013), $3.99USD for Liquid Gold and $5.99USD for the ebook of Ink Black Magic!
